"The oldest suspect is 72, while others are in their 50s and 60s".

Last October, the 36-year-old reality star was tied up, gagged, and held at gunpoint while armed robbers took off with almost $10 million worth of her jewelry. Reports state that, after a three month investigation, the suspected culprits were detained following some early morning raids all over France.

DNA evidence left at the crime scene, a private residence where Kim had been staying for Paris Fashion Week, as well as surveillance footage led authorities to discover certain suspects as well as a wider criminal network allegedly responsible for the $9 million jewelry robbery.

Kardashian addressed the incident for the first time publically during a promotional ad for her reality show released this weekend.

"These arrests are a nice surprise because we might be able to find the jewels", Jean Veil, Kardashian's lawyer in Paris, told L'Express, adding that the arrests were "a great satisfaction" to his client.

A spokesperson for Kardashian did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The unnamed suspects can be held for up to 96 hours before either being charged or let go.

Many of those arrested in coordinated police raids in several different parts of France were known underworld figures aged around 50 and at least three were women, police officials and judicial sources said. And now, it seems that the #KeepingUpWithTheKardashians star is finally ready to talk about it, as the most recent promo trailer for her family's reality TV show has shown.

She recalled thinking: "They're going to shoot me in the back".

Kardashian recently broke her silence on the October 3 event in a promo clip for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, telling her sisters "they're going to shoot me in the back. there's no way out".

The star added: "It makes me so upset to think about it".
