First, it was The LEGO Movie and then it became The LEGO Batman Movie. Along the way we learn about why Robin wears those green panties, what Superman's doorbell sounds like and what Batman wears when he watches movies around the house (he keeps the mask on but changes into a bathrobe). As someone not immune to the charms of any of those things, I giggled like a middle-schooler throughout, even as the movie fades a bit in its final stretch.
Check out what he had to say in the player above and below you can check out the recent trailer and official synopsis. On "The LEGO Batman Movie, ' I brought in one of my favorite stop-motion animators from "Robot Chicken" - her influence on the animation and her character animation was so great that I thought she was absolutely essential to making this movie".
