The combat stars will fight over 12 rounds at 154 pounds at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas.

Mayweather boasts a flawless professional record of 49-0 and in 2016 was ranked by ESPN as the greatest pound for boxer of the past 25-years. It doesn't help matters much that McGregor has never boxed professionally in his career and now he's taking on one of the best to ever do it.

There have been many rumored or suggested boxer versus MMA fighter bouts over the years, including Anderson Silva vs. Roy Jones, Stipe Miocic vs. Anthony Joshua and a host of others.

I thought I had him figured out when I said Manny Pacquiao was easy money for him, and that when they fight, Manny won't be Mayweather's toughest fight by a long shot. "This is what people do with their time". And on top of that, I think McGregor will be able to claim victory after the event.

"You gotta know when to go", said Mayweather. The one thing it will be, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is entertaining. He gets them doing things they don't normally do and that's what he needs to do against Floyd.

Reward increased for escaped Georgia inmates accused of killing two officers
The pair shared a cell while in prison, but authorities say they can't be certain if that is where they hatched their escape plan. Both men were being held at Baldwin State Prison in Milledgeville, just one county over from where they escaped in Putnam County.

If you think there's a chance in the world Conor McGregor leaves the ring victorious, then you must be insane. "So many fighters, like myself, like Canelo [Alvarez], like [Oscar] De Le Hoya that couldn't lay a glove on him, I can't see it for Conor".

Remember when Mayweather took on "Big Show" at Wrestlemania XXIV in a no disqualification match in 2008?

The American was invited into the ring to square off against the Big Show, only to throw a real combination which left the 27st giant with a broken nose.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya, a vocal critic of the freak show before it was even finalized, was not happy it was placed three weeks in front of the fight he is promoting.

"I trained Floyd to step into the ring with The Big Show, which was a big highlight for me, and he did", he said. These two superstars have a huge worldwide fan base and when you put them both together the event becomes much bigger. At the time, Mayweather told those gathered at the post-fight press conference that it was time for him to retire.
