Now the engine choices are changing once again with the addition of a new four-cylinder 30t trim that replaces the six-cylinder 35t models for Jag's compact sedan, mid-size sedan, and SUV offerings.

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine produces 400Nm of torque for exceptional acceleration.

This higher output 2.0-liter is similar to the one offered in the F-Type, and is a part of Jaguar's Ingenium engine range. For those who are interested, the numbers are 41.5mpg for the XE, 40mpg for the XF, and 37mpg in the bulky F-Pace.

While the F-Pace takes 5.7 seconds to cover the 0-60 dash.

Inside the Jaguar XF, the Ingenium engine can cover the 0-62mph sprint in just 5.6 seconds, while the car's official fuel economy is rated at 40mpg and Carbon dioxide emissions are at 163g/km.

Kidambi Srikanth creates history by reaching final of Australian Open
After being down for a few seconds however, Srikanth got up and breezed his way into the final, fittingly with a smash. With this win, Srikanth became the first Indian male badminton player to reach three back-to-back Superseries finals.

The engine's impact is felt most in the XE - the lightest and smallest auto of the trio.

In the smaller XE saloon, the 0-100km/h sprint takes only 5.5 seconds (0-60mph in 5.2) with all wheel drive, fuel economy is up to 41.5mpg (6.9l/100km) and Carbon dioxide emissions are 157g/km. It pairs exclusively with an eight-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive is standard on the F-Pace 30t, whereas it's optional on the XF 30t and XE 30t. "This clean and more efficient engine perfectly complements the advanced lightweight aluminium body structure of our models", said product engineering chief Nick Rogers.

Further updates for the 2018 model year derivatives include added convenience features such as a Gesture Boot Lid for the XF and XE, as well as Jaguar's Configurable Dynamics technology.

All three models also benefit from the latest safety technologies, including Forward Vehicle Guidance and Forward Traffic Detection.
