Emerging from a mosque hundreds of meters (yards) away from the embassy, the protesters chant "Death to Israel" and "No Zionist embassy on Jordanian soil", an AFP correspondent says.

It is also one of only two Arab governments that have signed a peace treaty with Israel and established full diplomatic relations.

Interior Minister Ghaleb al-Zoabi presented the initial findings to lawmakers on Tuesday, saying an Israeli security guard opened fire, killing two Jordanians, after one of them attacked him with a screwdriver. Netanyahu gave the guard a hero's embrace after Israel brought him home under diplomatic immunity, behaviour that the king said was "provocative on all fronts and enrages us, destabilises security and fuels extremism".

But the reliance on the king to do the responsible thing really shone through following the attack on the Israeli security guard in the Israeli embassy compound in Amman, and the guard's subsequent shooting of his attacker and another Jordanian bystander. Israel has since removed the devices, including metal detectors and CCTV cameras.

Netanyahu was also captured on Israeli media smiling as he hugged the guard. The crisis that had begun because of the security measures was considered by some to be the bloodiest in the city in years.

"A weight has been lifted from my heart", he said, according to a statement from the Israeli government. The worker and the Jordanian owner of the building were wounded and later died, the reports said.

However, Musaid said in comments carried by Petra: "It became clear to the public prosecution through the investigation that the killer enjoys diplomatic and judicial immunity", and he had chose to drop the case.

Another player, perhaps Kyle Singler, would have to be added to the deal to make it acceptable under the rules of the salary cap. Carmelo Anthony to the Cavs has picked up a lot of steam since ESPN reported that Kyrie Irving wants out of Cleveland.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone to Israel's ambassador in Jordan, the ministry said.

The guard, along with other embassy staff, returned Monday to Israel.

An Israeli judicial source who declined to be named said state prosecutors were giving "preliminary consideration" to an investigation.

Israel's said its decision to enhance security came after two border police officers were killed in an attack at the compound a week ago.

Jordan said initially that the guard could leave only after an investigation, while Israel said he enjoyed diplomatic immunity.

"To this end, the Security Cabinet will reconvene on the issue later today".
