Lionsgate Movie World is now scheduled to open at Jeju Shinhwa World in South Korea in 2019.

Nearly two years after we first reported it, Lionsgate and Landing Jeju Development Co.

The theme park will be called Lionsgate Movie World, which will encompass a big plot of land in Jeju Shinwa World locating in a neighboring island in South Korea.

But as excited as we are to experience the Team Edward/Team Jacob dueling brood-coaster-or the Jesse Eisenberg Close-Up Magic Experience-it's the Hunger Games park that strikes us as the most fascinatingly baffling.

'Celebrity Big Brother': Sarah Harding Calls For Jemma Lucy To Be Removed
The latest events might come as a surprise to fans after Sarah got cold feet after snogging Chad on Friday night's show. Sarah tells him; "The only person I feel comfortable around is you, and you don't want to get involved either".

What are your thoughts on a Hunger Games-themed park? While that may seem like quite a large area, it's only one-tenth the size of Disney World's Epcot park, which covers a whopping 300 acres.

The attractions would open in staggered phases in the coming years.

While we get the idea of a theme park about Panem-creepy people walking aroud in freakish outfits, a ride that simulates the Battle at the Capital-how is a theme park about the rainy, gray Forks, Washington a fun getaway for the whole family? The outdoor attraction is targeting to begin construction sometime in 2018. The 1.3-million-square-foot venue will create seven distinct parks, each themed around one of Lionsgate's blockbuster films. These scenes will include various rides, four-dimensional streets, cities, restaurants, shopping venues and entertainment shows.

In partnership with Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd., the developer of Jeju Shinhwa World in South Korea, Lionsgate plans to open the "Lionsgate Movie World", which will be centered around the famous film properties the studio is renowned for. That may be a bit of an exaggeration, but some sort of Hunger Games laser tag or other competitive attraction would seem like the most obvious thing in the world.
