Pauline Hanson's outrageous Senate burqa stunt ridiculed by shocked colleagues
Senate photography rules as recent as past year would have prevented media publishing Ms Hanson wearing the burka in the senate. She claimed the garment was "not Australian" and that wearing it "is incompatible with our culture and our way of life".

One family commemorated the birth of a baby girl and the historic event, legally naming their daughter "Eclipse". Paul and Freedom initially chose the name Violet for her, according to WSOC.

Monday's total solar eclipse wasn't expected to hit parts of SC until the afternoon, but an Eclipse came early for a Greenville couple.

The US witnessed its first full-blown, coast-to-coast solar eclipse since World War I on Monday, the first eclipse of the social media era to pass through a heavily populated area.
