C.V, and Invenergy Clean Power LLC. was selected for the development of the Cogeneration Cogeneration project. The winning consortium will partner with MGC Cactus S.A.P.I. de CV, a subsidiary of
Pemex-Gas and Basic Petrochemicals (PGPB).

The Cactus Cogeneration project seeks to take advantage of the potential of the Cactus Gas Processor Complex to generate electricity and steam with high efficiency and reliability, for which a cogeneration plant will be built with its associated transmission system, which will have a preliminary generation capacity of 530 megawatts and 500 tons per hour of steam.

The estimated start date of commercial operation of Cogeneración Cactus is the first half of 2018.

This project means an approximate direct investment of 650 million dollars.
