We may have a case of "who wore it better" on our hands ... and I'm referring to the backdrop vs. centerpieces of gorgeous flowers of course! Michelle Garibay Events teamed up with Growing Grace Design for a playful "Kate Spade bride" style tablescape that works for the wedding or the bridal shower. Their Chic Parisian "Le Jardin" Inspired Tablescape is glowing ... and not just from the candles! ;) From the bold black & white linen to the ultra creative (and mood setting) floral backdrop, catch all the glamorous details and a fun Q & A session with Michelle below.

What was your inspiration?

I was drawn to the black and white stripes. I wanted to do something old and a little different today to kickstart spring. And then a Paris garden theme, I wanted something high-contrast, bold and exciting with a very garden-fresh feel. (Linen : Canopy Stripe Onyx Napkins : Fuschia Satin Lamour)

The arrangements are gorgeous. Did you originally have this idea of repetition?

Yes. We wanted to keep continuity because we really wanted the floral wall to be the focal point.

Tell us a little bit about that - it's gorgeous.

Michelle used peonies and roses in all of the different colors. It's designed by hand this morning.

Tell us a little bit about the seating.

This is called the Versailles bench, so I wanted to bring those Paris lines and those lush Marie Antoinette designs. It has a lot of layers and really steps up. The napkins added a punch of color to offset the black and white. I used clean plates and clean silverware because I really wanted the flowers to be the star of the show. Just symmetrical lines to play off the stripes and have the flowers on the garden part of the design. We have a lot of muted tones so it's a little different.

Who is your target bride for this design?

Storm Pilot
For the first three Lucia heard noises, but she attributed them to the old pipes in her apartment and gave them no importance. When the shock and dust removed by the fall decanted, Lucia saw that what had fallen was another picture.
