The absence of British officials makes Russian Federation 2018 the first World Cup since 1938 without representation from the four home nations.

Video Assistant Referees will be used at the World Cup, and the officials will attend a dedicated seminar for two weeks in the second half of April at Coverciano.

Only 10 referees are representing Confederation of African Football (Caf) affiliated countries.

The United States is the only country to have two referees selected to officiate games at this summer's World Cup, but no English official has been named.

However, Australia, Belgium, Portugal and South Korea will not have referees at the World Cup despite their leagues adopting VAR live trials.

Marwa 41, will do the job with 62 other assistants and 36 referees.

The U.S. also had two assistant referees selected, Frank Anderson and Corey Rockwell.

Over the last three years, preparatory seminars have taken place for officials ahead of the 2018 tournament focusing on fair play, protecting players and the image of the game, as well as consistency and uniformity.

The Football Association attempted to replace Clattenburg but its request was rejected by Fifa. After such course, the FIFA Referees Committee will announce the names of the referees selected to act as VAR (video refereeing) during the World Cup.

This summer's World Cup will feature no English referees for the first time in post-war history, nor assistants. The same referees were provisionally selected in November.

Europe will be represented by referees from Germany, Turkey, Russia, Holland, Poland, Spain, Serbia, Italy, Slovenia and France.

Clattenburg, who refereed the Euro 2016 final between Portugal and France, left his job with the Premier League past year to become Saudi Arabia's new head of referees and so forfeited his place.
