Egypt still looks like they will bring along Salah for the campaign, but whether he plays a game or not still remains in question. He left with his arm in a sling, his Liverpool team defeated and his World Cup in jeopardy.

Egypt erupted in anger at the injury of Mohamed Salah in Saturday's Champions League final, with some claiming a Saudi plot, according to a report in al-Quds al-Arabi.

The Egypt global was hauled down by Ramos and landed awkwardly on his shoulder, and left the field weeping with his World Cup chances now in serious jeopardy.

No card was shown to Ramos following the altercation.

In Cairo, Egyptians screamed insults at Ramos during a public screening of the final.

Ramos appeared to trap Salah's arm as he fell on the Egypt global in the first half in Kiev, causing Liverpool's star player to be substituted on the half-hour mark. Not only missing the rest of the game, but also missing the FIFA World Cup 2018.

"I know if you say something like that after a game you lost, it sounds like you are a little bit a bad loser but it was, for me, kind of a harsh challenge", Klopp said.

At one cafe in Cairo, numerous 500 people who gathered to watch the game on a giant screen left when Salah exited the match.
